Newest on the force – Ravalli Republic article March 18, 1993
Scott Burlingham (left) is the most recent addition to the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Department. The new deputy, shown here being greeted by Sheriff Jay Printz, served two years as a jailer and two years as a reserve deputy before being hired as a full time law enforcement officer. He will attend the Montana Law Enforcement Academy in Bozeman in August. Burlingham is married and has lived in the Bitterroot valley for 11 years. When off duty he enjoys hunting, fishing, scuba diving and team roping.
